Dra. Vivian Robledo

Dra. Robledo has spent most of her career working in public education serving 24 years with the Bethlehem Area School District (BASD) in various roles: school counselor, assistant principal, principal, Supervisor of Student and Community Engagement, and Director of Student Services and Minority Affairs.

While with the school district, she also worked as an Adjunct Professor for East Stroudsburg University teaching a course on Classroom Diversity and Foundations of Education, and served on various committees and projects in the Lehigh Valley, PA, such as Lehigh Valley Community Foundation’s Project Equity, the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s Fund for Racial Justice and Equity, and Lehigh University’s Institute for Critical Race and Ethnic Studies.

Prior to the BASD, she worked as an HIV and AIDS Counselor with the City of Bethlehem Health Bureau, an Admissions Counselor/Latino School Liaison at East Stroudsburg University of PA, Human Resources with the City of New York, and as a College & Career Counselor at Roosevelt Jr/Sr High School on Long Island.

Her doctoral dissertation is titled, “Race  talk and culturally proficient leaders: A convergent parallel mixed-method research design.”.
